Setting

Bera Horses is set in the fantasy world of Phaeton, where nine distinct Kingdoms thrive, each shaped by ancient bear tribes and mystical horses. Bears possess elemental and cosmic magic, forging deep, mystical connections with their steeds. But legend has it that only a chosen few can bond with a Bera Horse. Alpheria is a small island off of the South-East coast of Phaeton and is a primordial piece in the puzzle of your destiny.

Back Story

Two thousand years ago, Phaeton’s tribes were at war until the dark force known as the Draegoth invaded, tearing through dimensions to bring death and destruction. Pushed to Alpheria, a small Island off the coast of Phaeton, the leaders of the tribes united under the banner of the Nine Kingdoms. Their champions formed the Eques Legion, said to be blessed by the gods. With this divine help, they defeated the Draegoth in the Inferno Wars, but warned the rift would only stay sealed for two millennia. The Kingdoms celebrated peace and created the World Leagues, an annual competition where the best riders race across the nine kingdoms to honor their champions.

Where We Begin

Two thousand years later, peace reigns, but the World Leagues have become a means of greed and profit. The ancient warning is all but forgotten. Alpheria, once a sacred meeting ground, is now a training base for aspiring champions. Kodi, a young stable worker, dreams of following in his father’s footsteps by joining the World Leagues, though his father mysteriousious disappearance years ago has left him lacking confidence in his ability. Today is Kodi’s last chance to bond with a horse and prove his destiny as a Champion Racer.
