# How to Earn Rewards

Bera Horses is an [RFA recipient](https://blog.berachain.com/blog/request-for-broposal-update-applications), receiving over 30,000 BERA tokens to distribute to our community as part of the Berachain airdrop. We will release these tokens through a mixture of in-game rewards, leaderboard incentives and tournaments. 

Players can earn BERA rewards through various gameplay activities, with a focus on skill-based racing in the first instance. Free-to-play users can join Casual Races and earn 0.1 BERA per win, but those who own a horse from the Stallion Collection receive a 5x multiplier, earning 0.5 BERA per win instead. \

For higher stakes, Competitive Races require either a 1 BERA or 3 BERA entry fee, with 80% of the prize pool going to each race winner. Players who build a Monument in their stables are eligible to passively earn a share of 15% of all Competitive Race entry fees, distributed based on activity, while the remaining 5% goes to the company. 

Both Casual and Competitive Leaderboards will distribute BERA rewards to the top ten players monthly before they are reset.

Bera Horses will have a Reward Vault (subject to passing governance approval) which will reward player progression through Prayer Points. More details on this will be released soon.
